Jude Waugh

I came to Sapporo city in August 2008 and have only played for the Barbarians B Team over the 2009 season.
I played mainly cricket in high school so I haven't played rugby since junior high school about twenty four odd years ago and it shows, but it's great to have a run around with some good old boys a lot more dedicated than myself.
I played on the wing last season and always enjoy a good kick and chase for the line. Looking forward to an injury free 2010.

Koro Waikai

Koro played for the club in the 1993 season at centre and was the star of the show in the back-line.
A hard running, stright running centre Koro made breaks at will and fed his outside backs for many tries in the corner. Koro was invited to play for the club through the Hamilton Old Boys Rugby Club, one of many players that the club has had from the strong Hamilton club. Koro returned to NZ after his 93 season helping the team win the 1993 All Hokkaido Championship.

Paul Williams

PJ Williams played for the Barbarians in 2002 at first five and fullback.
PJ was a key member of the team helping to win the East Japan final that year.
It was certainly though his 7 penalty goals and the teams 21-0 lead at half time against Mandera in the semi-final that was his finest hour. A gifted kicker of the ball, placekicking, punting, dropkicking the team to victory that season, finished with an 88% kicking record over 30 odd games.
Revelled in the Sapporo lifestyle and culture like all that come here, now a teacher at Cambridge High School and started his rugby coaching career in NZ.
